چکیده

In this paper we consider the problem of generating data which is sufficient for super resolution reconstruction. The method considered here is by inducing motion on the (low resolution) image acquisition device which then generates a number of low resolution images – this is the data we use for the super resolution reconstruction. Our main concern is in investigating a number of motion types and providing the conditions which will guarantee the feasibility of the super resolution reconstruction from data available. 2008 Elsevier Inc. Motion Aided Sampling and Reconstruction

Motivated by motion compensated filtering in image processing we consider the problem of sampling and reconstruction of signals with sampling rates below the Nyquist rate. It is assumed that temporal dependence can be induced via motion. This way, the data consists of both spatial and temporal sampling and we analyze here the conditions for reconstruction for a number of typical motions. Extens...

Motion compensated reconstruction from free breathing 2D radial cardiac MRI data

Background Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) is affected by both cardiac and respiratory motion. While ECG-gated imaging within a breath hold is often the method of choice to limit motion-related artifacts, free-breathing methods are favorable in patients with limited breath hold capability. Free-breathing approaches require either rapid singleshot scans to reduce respiratory motion arti...

Adaptive 3D Radial MRI Based on Multidimensional Golden Means for Supine Breast Imaging

INTRODUCTION Supine breast MRI [1] allows imaging of the breast in a configuration similar to many clinical applications including ultrasound and breast conserving surgeries. This would facilitate the image registration of MR images for aid of these applications. However, standard Cartesian sampling has non-isotropic spatial resolution, which is undesirable when the registered images are presen...

Comparing the Kinematics of the Lower Limb Joints in Jump-Landing Maneuver Among Soccer Players With and Without Histories of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction

Background: Jumping and landing are common activities in soccer, i.e., associated with Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries in the players, especially when experiencing fatigue. The current study aimed to compare the kinematics of the lower limb joints in jump-landing maneuver among soccer players with and without a history of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Methods: Among acti...
